We can consider it the wine of Florence, that is everything that is born on the hills surrounding the beautiful Tuscan capital, in its logo the Marzocco, the lion symbol of protection of the city of Florence since the Middle Ages.

Leonardo Romanelli he was the good host of an evening of tasting, held at the Le Pavoniere swimming pool in Florence, 11 wines from the consortium selected by the food and wine critic, in both vintage and reserve versions.

All the producers present together with Leonardo Romanelli

Despite the pandemic, the consortium Chianti Colli Fiorentini, is undoubtedly confirmed as a growing reality, a work that certainly starts from the vineyard, with many producers who for some time have embraced the choice of organic combined with the main use of native vines. The wines for tasting were presented with stylistic choices that in some way reward the area of origin, excellent use in wood in the reserves that have proved to be of great character and drinkability, modern wines on many occasions fresh and with an acidic shoulder which will also reward them over time.

The event took place in full compliance with the covid regulations, and with the support of the FISAR of Florence, for the sommelier service.
