Riccardo Azzato of La Cantinetta del Chianti di Gaiole won the Salmanazar bottle of 50 & 50 2014 with the offer of 2.050 euros On the evening of April 29, live on the Facebook and Instagram page of the winery Capannelle Verdelli, an unprecedented social charity auction was launched, open to all. Up for grabs 300 Magnum of Rosé 2019 bottled on March 16 e  1 limited edition of 50 & 50 of 9 liters.

At the end of the auction, which ended at 21.30, the winner, Riccardo Azzato de The Cantinetta del Chianti of Gaiole in Chianti, was awarded the Salmanazar bottle of 50 & 50 2014 with the offer of 2.050 €. In addition to the 9 liters, there is also a free one night stay for two people to spend in the Wine Resort of Capannelle. Subsequently, the company will communicate the total amount collected also from the sale of the 2019 Rosato Magnums received via email.

15% of the proceeds of the evening will be donated to support the health prevention initiatives carried out by the Municipality of Gaiole in Chianti to deal with the Covid-19 emergency.

“We were pleased to participate in the life of the community of the Municipality of Gaiole with this charity initiative - he explains Manuele Verdelli, commercial director of Capannelle - A deserving and current project because a medical Center which will increase medical services for the Chianti community and for those who come to visit us ”.

The public offers, all sent by email (manuele.verdelli@capannelle.it) were then collected by the company staff. The collection of the prize will take place through the wine shop or restaurant closest to the winners' residence. Another way to give visibility and support to the sales chain in a certainly not easy moment.

The company Capannelle it is located in Gaiole in Chianti, covers about 20 hectares of which 16 are vineyards and produces about 80.000 bottles of wine per year.
