He is the most famous butcher in the Chianti area, a combination of true Tuscanism and poetic sensitivity and a tenacious passion for art and communication. A man who, thanks to an exceptional histrionic dowry, managed to bring the world into his Panzano, a delightful village that today also welcomes contemporary art.
"As I say, a summit in heaven, and from here you can see the beauty and if you see Natalie's sculptures are a hymn to beauty, a hymn to joy, one stands in front and feels the most beautiful music in the world, thinks about the best wines in the world and maybe a bit of good fat, "he says enthusiastically Dario Cecchini.
About thirty large sculptures in bronze, stainless steel and steel they welcome and enclose the Tuscan landscape as paintings. The works, depicting a slender man, stylized, in movement and almost always enclosed in geometric shapes, are arranged in a sort of 'emotional path', perfect frames for a nature that is at times moving.
"I found that here there were human relationships out of time, rare and so it was clear that I had to exhibit here. And then the geometry of my works opens windows on this exceptional landscape and this is a reason to exhibit in this sublime place ", he explains Nathalie Decoster, internationally renowned French artist.
Nathalie's installations find a perfect dialogue even with the agricultural reality of this corner of Chianti, creating the right synthesis between art, culture and traditions.
"It is an initiative that brings positive energy throughout our territory to Panzano" - he stresses Janmario Hero Reina, director of the Biological Agricultural Company Renzo Marinai.
"Panzano effectively represents an important center in the world for what wine production can be - he says Alessandro Fonseca administrator of Tenuta Casenuove - and the approach to art is perhaps a further phase of what will soon be able to marry even more the art of making wine with artists, who wants to expose and I would say above all the nature of this landscape which is truly unique ”.
"We are an art form - he states Gian Paolo Motta Company La Massa - making wine is expressing an art, expressing a personality and a territory. Nathalie immediately penetrated our reality, the works have this great capacity, that of bringing each of us to identify ourselves, it is a human exchange, regardless of the materials that may seem very cold, technical, they are works that contain a great heat ".
An initiative that invites us to visit Panzano and his campaign with different eyes, to grasp that subtle combination that links this territory so evocative and rich in contemporary art, in the wake of a tradition that has always characterized it.
The event is an initiative of the non-profit association Panzano Arte sponsored by Dario Cecchini and edited by Mila Sturm.
