Midsummer party with art and history of Praetorian Palace. Thursday 15 August in addition to the usual ordinary opening the civic Museum it will also be open at night from 21 to 23.30, the last entry to 23.

Like every year the appointment with the party is renewed, which sees the museum open to the city with free entry to allow a residents, tourists and enthusiasts to visit the permanent collection, distributed in the three floors of the Museum, and the exhibition Passed to res judicata by Simone Pellegrini hosted on the ground floor until Sunday 8 September. The temporary exhibition, in continuity with Pretorio Studio, a project that opens up to the interpretation of contemporary artists the cultural heritage of the museum, proposes a new great work by Pellegrini accompanied by a selection of previous works, from 2013 to today.

To complete the offer the possibility of getting in Terrace, the Prato viewpoint that allows bright glimpses of the historic city center. Palazzo Pretorio relaunches its proposal of culture in mid-August and invites everyone to admire, discover or discover a treasure chest of masterpieces, heritage of the city that preserves works by Lorenzo Bartolini, Filippo and Filippino Lippi, Giovanni da Milano, Andrea della Robbia, Rodolfo del Ghirlandaio Jacques Lipchitz, among others.

Today a Ferragosto the museum is open, as well as every day except August Tuesday, also from 9.30 to 15.30, free admission for residents. The last entry is always allowed up to half an hour before the indicated closure. The panoramic terrace, due to its structural characteristics, is not accessible to wheelchairs, strollers and people with walking problems. In case of bad weather access will not be allowed.
