After the success of the preview held at the Auditorium of 'I Lecci' the 28 April 2018 with the concert of the orchestra conducted by maestro Domenico Pierini, returns in Montespertoli between October and November 2018 the Metropolitan May, the project funded by the Metropolitan City of Florence and realized by the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Foundation.
The initiative concerns all the 42 municipalities of the province and was born with the ambition to bring the work and the orchestral music "home" to non-residents in order to contribute to the cultural growth of the community. End shared by the Councilor for Culture of Montespertoli, Elena Admirable: "The project is beautiful and pursues the same objectives that this administration, in supporting the school of music, has been given from the beginning: the promotion of music as a cultural vehicle, fundamental to be fully citizens and, I would venture further, Italians. Italy is the homeland of bel canto, of which Bassi has been the greatest exponent, and we can not but commit ourselves to know to appreciate this field that unfortunately, many, is relegated to high culture, and that instead has been popular culture throughout the nineteenth and early twentieth century ".
Therefore, all the territories involved will have the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (mainly the Orchestra and Choir, but also chamber music groups, soloists and some special guests) for concerts, conferences and meetings.

Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi". In the re-enactment of the location dedicated to the great tenor of Montelpertio, the guests of the Maggio Fiorentino will speak lyrical starting from the works of Giuseppe Verdi to arrive at Amedeo Bassi, who in the course of his career interpreted many arias of the great composer of the nineteenth century.
The third date sees only the protagonists of the children of the fifth classes of primary school who, at the auditorium of the center 'I Lecci' in the day of Wednesday 31 October at 10, they will participate in "The WAM game - The Mozart game", With directing and scenic writing by Manu Lalli and produced in co-production with Venti Lucenti. In this original show-game, the boys become spectators or performers from time to time. In just over an hour, thanks to the participation of four actors, you are then transported to Vienna and Europe at the end of the '700.
