The master craftsmen of Tuscany open the doors of their shops, tell their art and above all share experiences with those who are passionate or simply curious. All this happens thanks to 13th edition of Gema - European Days of Art Crafts scheduled from 4 to 7 April, simultaneously in several European countries.
The event in the region is organized by Artex - Center for Artistic and Traditional Crafts of Tuscany in collaboration with Tuscany Region, Cna Toscana and Confartigianato Toscana. This year's theme is "Arts Crafts, signature of the territory", to reaffirm the identity strength of craftsmanship and to enhance training and generational turnover.
Workshops and workshops will be involved in different provinces: Arezzo, Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Siena, Grosseto, Prato and Livorno. From ceramics to confectionery, from the production of wigs and props to frames to jewelry, just to name a few. Everything that is the artistic and artisanal product of Tuscany will be accessible to anyone who wants to discover what lies behind these fascinating crafts, the professionalism and dedication of artisans, and involve young people as much as possible and make them an active part of the replacement process generational.
