The new cycle of four visits begins on Sunday 8 September with a visit to the garden of the Villa di Castello and the September 28 continues with a journey through the ramparts of the Forte di Belvedere and its new exhibitions. The 27 October will be the time of the visit to the exhibition The botanical of Leonardo that from the 13 September will open to the public at the Complex of Santa Maria Novella (exhibition conceived and produced by Aboca, promoted by the Municipality of Florence and organized by MUS.E). The last appointment, the November 16, will be dedicated to the discovery of the Medici tapestries dedicated to the Stories of Giuseppe and exhibited in the Sala dei Duecento of Palazzo Vecchio.

The garden of the Villa di Castello, for Vasari "the richest, most magnificent and most honored garden in Europe", is one of the main places of Medici wonder. In fact, thanks mainly to the ingenuity and imagination of Niccolò Pericoli known as "Tribolo", it contained and encloses an extraordinary variety of beauties, surprises and oddities in the continuous interweaving between nature and art.

Visit to the exhibition The return of Joseph, prince of dreams. The Medici tapestries of the Sala dei Duecento
The visit will allow you to admire some of the precious tapestries dedicated to the Stories of Joseph, returned to Florence thanks to an agreement between the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and the Municipality of Florence. The twenty tapestries are in fact exhibited in rotation, four at a time, according to their original location, in the Sala dei Duecento. This series of monumental cloths is one of the highest testimonies of Renaissance textile and art manufacture: they were commissioned by Cosimo I de 'Medici between the 1545 and the 1553 to two of the greatest Flemish tapestries, Jan Rost and Nicolas Karcher, based on cartoons designed by Agnolo Bronzino, Jacopo Pontormo and Francesco Salviati.
