Florence is a city that always loves the circus, from the classic to the more modern, with the new year two international shows are coming to the Tuscany Hall that promise great emotions. We start the 3 and 4 January with the music, magic and acrobatics of the Black Blues Brothers (3 Friday and Saturday 4 January at 21) and the Grand Gala du Cirque (Sunday 5 hours 20,45 and Monday 6 January hours 18), two shows that land in Florence after having thrilled the public around the world.

In a local Cotton Club style, on the well-known rhythm'n'blues of a vintage radio, the five Black Blues Brothers transform into equilibrists, flag-wavers, jumpers and jugglers with fire. Each prop object (chairs, tables, coat racks, vases and even mirrors) becomes a tool for breathtaking acrobatics inserted in hilarious gags, hilarious dance challenges and constant involvement of the public. With the soundtrack of the legendary film, the Black Blues Brothers revive one of the greatest pop myths of our times with human pyramids, fire limbo, acrobatic jump with rope and two circles and much more.

GRAN GALA DU CIRQUE (5 and 6 January)

Between the suspense of the classical circus and the charm of contemporary dance, the Gran Gala du Cirque brings to the TuscanyHall a show that sees stars from the circus scene from Ukraine, Chile, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria and Russia. A unique show format that has been applauded by over 30.000 viewers who now come to Florence for the first time this season's only Tuscan date.

Among the protagonists of the show, the aerial dancer Tim Kriegler, awarded at the Festival du Cirque de Demain in Paris; Francisco Rojas, acrobat of extraordinary talent whose evolutions with the Cyr wheel recall the Leonardesque image of the Vitruvian man and the statues Golden Power, with the gilded body, exaltation of the human strength and power. An event for all generations, in balance between tradition and innovation, poetry and comedy.
