Farm animals ready to be looked after by the little ones. Many products of the earth, genuine and at zero km. Workshops for children - such as those to learn how to make cheese, fresh pasta or honey extraction - and many activities for all ages. After a year off, the ancient Antella Fair returns, organized by the Municipality of Bagno a Ripoli as usual on the first weekend of October.

The start of the event, after the evening of Friday 1 October which opens its doors to the Fair with the delivery of the "Merit, Commitment, Community" Award to the staff of the hospital in Ponte a Niccheri with an initiative in Piazza Peruzzi, is scheduled for Saturday 2 October at 15 pm. Until Sunday evening, the center of Antella, the garden of the Resistance and the surrounding areas will be transformed into a real open-air farm. While cows, chickens, bees (and not only) will make a fine show of themselves in the exhibition area dedicated to animals set up together with Arat Toscana, at the farmer's market stalls it will be possible to buy short chain products from local companies, from vegetables from flour to beer.

Among the exhibitors, there will also be a stand by Mukki, which will involve children with activities dedicated to milk and its derivatives. Among the activities for the little ones, for the first time this year, the weaving workshop. The event will continue on Monday 4 October with the expected and customary "fierone" which for the first time expands its range of action in the streets of the town to comply with anti-Covid regulations.

“After last year's stop - commented the mayor and the councilor for economic development - due to Covid and bad weather, we are really happy to be able to reopen the doors of the Antella Fair. It is a piece of our tradition that comes back to life, a sign of trust after the difficult months we have behind us. As always, it will be a party suitable for children and families in the name of nature and sustainability, albeit with some due extra attention. Thanks to all the associations, businesses, producers and volunteer organizations who once again answered 'present' and who will make an essential contribution to creating an event so dear to the whole community ”.

To access the space dedicated to animals it will be mandatory to have the Green pass (for over 12) and wear a mask.
