From 9 September back Handicraft & Aperitif, 22 urban trekking appointments to discover the ancient artisan shops and the historic center districts of seven Tuscan cities, starting from Arezzo. The project - signed Artex-Center for artistic and traditional craftsmanship of Tuscany in collaboration with Unicoop Firenze, Cna Toscana, Confartigianato Imprese Toscana, Regione Toscana and Andare a Zonzo - is reserved only for Unicoop Firenze members and aims to enhance the artisan fabric of the cities and villages of Tuscany through dynamic and engaging activities.

Each urban walk combines a path, which allows you to visit the artistic, architectural and cultural heritage of the city, and a visit to an artisan workshop, to see live the production techniques and the secrets of the masters. Each trekking route ends with an aperitif reserved for the participants and the artisans who have opened the doors of their workshops. Born in 2017, the Artigianato & Aperitivo initiative this year will touch the seven cities in which Unicoop Firenze is present: it starts with Arezzo, Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Siena, Pistoia and Prato. In all, there will be 22 twenty-two courses, offered exclusively to Unicoop Firenze members.

"We have decided to revive this initiative after the success of past editions," he says Sara Biagiotti, vice-president of Artex. «These are important occasions to make the Tuscan cities and their traditions better known also to those who, as citizens, live them every day. The craftsmanship represents an excellence of the territory and this initiative offers a unique point of view to its participants ».

«The cultural activities of Unicoop Firenze aim to offer members moments of knowledge of the territory and its historical and artistic heritage. In this case, thanks to the collaboration with Artex, we are able to combine the visit of the most beautiful cities in Tuscany with an element of encounter with those who now hold the artisan know-how that the whole world admires. We are pleased to offer the Artigianato & Aperitivo appointments exclusively to Unicoop Firenze members, in a context such as the current one in which it is even more urgent to support traditional craft activities »let Unicoop Firenze know.
