Saturday, October 17, starting at 17, in the Hall of Fiorino’s Gallery of Modern Art of the Pitti Palace there is a special event entitled Portraits of women protagonists, in which attention will focus on certain aspects of their personality and their existence, sometimes unknown, gathered in the text drafted by Mario Cei. This will be thoughts, emotions, thoughts belonged to those women themselves or their dedicated, masterfully read and interpreted by the actors, and Mario Cei Alessandro Quasimodo, whose words will be accompanied by piano music Ettore Borri. The event is organized with the support of the Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze and the collaboration of the Friends of the Palazzo Pitti; at the end of the show, tasting offered by Cake Pistocchi® Florence. The second round is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, beginning at 11 always in the Hall of Fiorino’s Gallery of Modern Art in Palazzo Pitti. The Association of Friends of the Palazzo Pitti, in collaboration with the Costume Gallery is organizing a theatrical performance entitled “Were you as you are”, a choir for three voices of girls who take turns in interpreting the character in which they were identified. Character which is tasked to accompany them in their becoming women. It is a path of growth for each of the three different, marked by the changing of costumes, which ends with an ode to female beauty triumphs. The performance is by Giulio Rubinelli, and will involve Carlotta Graverini, Giorgia and Margaret Spinelli Tiesi.
